Even as a foster based rescue there are times when animals are living in our office while they wait to go to their foster homes. During this training session, you will learn everything you need to know to join our "Let Outs" care team for both dogs and cats. This 2-hour training includes a classroom style introduction to the animal caretaker program, followed by an office tour and walk-through of how to complete a shift with dogs and cats. Once you are trained, you will be able to sign up to work with dogs, cats, or both for each shift. We can't wait to have you join us!
Please note that all Let Outs volunteers must be 18 or older. The biggest need for in-office animal care is currently for the Early AM (6-8am), dinner (4-6pm), and Late evening (9-11pm) shifts. This training is best suited to volunteers with availability during those times. Mid-day (11am-1pm) shifts have limited availability at this time.
