We are looking for dedicated Surgery Discharge Volunteers to join our Rescue Medical team on Thursday afternoons at our Minnetonka location.
Responsibilities
Foster Communication: Comfortably and clearly explain post-operative medical instructions to foster families at pickup.
Animal Handling: Safely handle both cats and dogs of various sizes.
Patient Prep: Assist with fitting animals with e-collars (cones) prior to going home.
Coordination: Call foster parents to check on or coordinate their pickup ETA as needed.
Sanitation: Clean and sanitize cat and dog carriers after they are returned by foster
