**Must have completed surgical support training before signing up for this opportunity**
We are looking for dedicated Surgery Support Volunteers to help our medical team provide high-quality care to our animals during their most important transition: surgery and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Surgical Support: Properly clean and sterilize surgical instruments to maintain a sterile environment.
Patient Recovery: Assist the medical team with patient recovery.
Clinic Care: Keep recovery kennels clean and comfortable for patients throughout the day.
Patient Restraint: Assist our veterinary staff with safe and gentle restraint for exams or prep as needed (training provided!).
Position Requirements:
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable standing and moving around for the duration of the shift and have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Commitment: We ask for a minimum commitment of one shift per month.
Professionalism: A calm demeanor and a passion for animals are essential in this fast-paced medical environment.

Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
