We are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist our rescue’s medical team at our Minnetonka location. In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and hands-on support to ensure our medical appointments run smoothly and our fosters feel welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting & Intake: Welcome fosters and their animals, gather necessary information, and assist with check-ins.
Animal Care: Safely place animals in temporary kennels and assist with medication pickups or lab samples.
Clinic Support: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including kennel sanitation between animals.
Communication Communicate with fosters via phone and in person about upcoming appointment reminders, appointment pick ups and medication pick ups.
Requirements
Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments.
Strong communication skills (in-person and via phone).
Physically able to bend, kneel, and lift items throughout the shift.
Shift Availability
Tuesday – Friday
- Morning: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday
- Morning: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
