Who We Are
The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. Since our start in 2009, we have rescued over 32,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization provides safe shelter, proper veterinary care and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them find or sustain a bond with humans.
We wake up every morning saying YES to connecting people and animals, caring for them, and helping them fill each other’s hearts.

What We Do
Do you want to give back to your community? One way to help now is to volunteer at our Pet Food Shelf in Minneapolis! We know pets are family. We help families stay together.
The Bond Between Pet Food Shelf helps families facing economic hardship by operating a pet food shelf in Minneapolis that is designed to keep pets healthy and in loving homes. We also distribute pet food to food shelves in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.
These volunteer opportunities are working with people, and there are not generally animals present.
