Community Animal Visits

The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. Since our start in 2009, we have rescued over 32,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization provides safe shelter, proper veterinary care and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them find or sustain a bond with humans.

We wake up every morning saying YES to connecting people and animals, caring for them, and helping them fill each other’s hearts.

Our Community Animal Visits program offers companion pet visits to Minnesota assisted living communities and other facilities. Our goal is to provide both humans and animals with comfort, socialization and companionship. Volunteers bring their personal animals, including dogs (both large and small) and cats, to participate in the visits. Each animal and its handler receives training with The Bond Between staff in order to make the experience both enjoyable and safe.
